The Question is:

 
Please help me in getting started with JAVA on OpenVMS. I might have goofed it
 up, because I do have the OpenVMS syntax with /classpath here and the newer one
with - classpath .:, which does confuse me: Directories ending with :, how do I
 specify disks? Is there any OpenVMS specific Introduction file, which I can
 read?
Are the classes maintained, so that they do work on OpenVMS. Probably I do have
everything and simply can't find the starting point

and read the Release Notes and ReadMe for
