I am upgrading from VMS 7.1 to VMS 7.2. Do I need a new license PAK or will
the 7.1 PAK work?
The Answer is :
The answer depends on the particular PAK and the particular terms
and conditions of your software license. Most customer PAKs will
continue to operate -- though some, such as temporary service PAKs,
will not -- and though some software licenses do not permit software
upgrades.
Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for assistance,
as information on your specific site and software contracts will
be required.
