The Question is:
I have setup a TCP print queue on DEC 700-08 on port 16. Whenever a print job
goes to the printer, it prints the job but all on one line.
This printer is a HP Laserjet 5si. This printer works fine on PORT 1 as a LTA
queue.
Here's the command I used for setting up this queue and was wondering if
there's something missing?
$INITIALIZE/QUEUE/START/PROCESSOR=ucx$telnetsym/form=default/default=(nofeed,nob
urst,notrailer,form=default)/retain=error/separate=
(noflag,noburst,notrailer)/record_blocking/owner=[calg,*]/prot=(g:rsmd,w:rsmd)/o
n="209.197.135.148:2016" calg$print:
Here's the settings for the PORT 16;

Flow Control: XON Output Speed: 9600
Parity: None Signal Control: Disabled
Stop Bits: 1 Signal Select: CTS-DSR-RTS-DTR

(Current) Groups: 0
Enabled Characteristics:

Any ideas???
The Answer is :
Please upgrade to TCP/IP Services V4.2 with the current ECO.
Please check that the version of the software loaded into the
DECserver 700 is the most current available.
Please check that the file(s) involved actually have a valid last
line -- use the ANALYZE/RMS tool to check for a valid RMS file
structure for the particular file(s).
If the problem persists with the current versions, please contact
the Compaq Customer Support Center directly for assistance.
